Summer Oaks Fund currently provides support to organizations working on the following issues:
For people to live healthy and thriving lives they need access to the services, tools, and education that let them live the life they choose. Summer Oaks funding supports access to a full spectrum approach to reproductive care including organizations that promote abortion access, maternal and perinatal health, birth equity, and comprehensive sex education.
Reproductive Health and Justice

We support organizations providing services to and advocating for LGBTQI+ youth, with a particular focus on serving young trans people. We focus on supporting safe social safes, affirming health care, access to mental health services, and efforts to foster greater community acceptance and celebration of trans individuals.
Queer and Trans Youth Support
We support organizations training and supporting the next generation of leaders to be ethical, ambitious, and effective. To tackle the world’s greatest problems, we need to empower the next generation of women, girls, and gender-expansive youth. In the spirit of our founders’ roots, we also fund entrepreneurship programs that uplift underrepresented people and communities in the tech sector.

Special Issue and Responsive Grantmaking
Summer Oaks provides limited funding to causes close to our founders’ hearts that are outside of our main giving areas, including local animal companionship organizations. Additionally, we occasionally provide responsive, one-time gifts to organizations with time-sensitive needs.
